Ben and Oscar turned our dirt patch into a beautiful oasis that we are enjoying every day. From day one they delivered exactly what they said they would deliver. On time. On budget. Ben, Jose, Sandro, Oscar and their entire team created the backyard and front yard oasis of our dreams. We had a different contractor initially who quit after a few weeks and Ben came and provided us the most competitive bid and was so knowledgeable, organized, and communicative that we chose Artscape. It was honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. Every time my family comes over to see our house they gush over how beautiful everything is and it's true. This was a massive project, two tiered backyard and front yard, and Ben was always mindful of our budget and needs. The workmanship, craftsmanship and expertise that Jose and Sandro brought to the project was unparalleled. It is incredible how versatile both of them are, and they are amazing leaders of their team. This project was completed in 7 weeks, whereas a project a quarter of our size and much simpler took my brother's contractor 6 months! Jose and Sandro were always at our house with their team at 7:30am every morning, and diligently worked the entire day. Ben was always super communicative and transparent about all items, and tracked our budget and change orders through google sheets which made it so easy to keep track of. He also went to bat for us with difficult vendors and a neighbor. He was always looking out for us and they entire team always went the extra mile. I would 1000000% recommend them.

Highly recommend Ben and his team. I went through a long process of trying to find the right person and got quotes from 8 different landscapers. Ben's price was competitive, but more than that I appreciated the competency that he and his team showed throughout construction.
Communication was key for me and Ben provided daily updates throughout the 4+ weeks we were working together. I never got the impression that Ben was too busy with other projects and he responded to all of my questions within hours.

As a real estate agent I first stumbled upon Artscape Gardens in December last year. Landscape development had become part of final escrow negotiations for a dwelling I was selling in Santa Monica. The general contractor brought in Ben and his crew and in less than 2 weeks they installed beautifully stamped and stained concrete patio, a retaining wall along with a mix of plants, lights and boulder accent points. We used Artscape Gardens for a major (at least for us) landscaping, patio. and pergola design/build. We are very happy with the quality of the work that they performed.
They do great work and have the manpower, serious equipment/resources, and
know-how to bang out bigger jobs efficiently. Here is a breakdown of my experience.
Design- Great, developed easy to understand plans for us and worked with us to revise them. Plans were modern and professional and they worked with us to get the numbers within our budget.
Build- Our original construction date got pushed back about a week, but once they got started they got it done quickly. The daily progress was impressive, they were professional and the crew was just great and hard working.These guys really know what they are doing. For us, it took them a full week including weekend’s to do everything, including fully installing a tile patio, all landscaping for front and back yards and the complete construction of the pergola/deck.
Quality- So far – about 2.5 month’s after – most of the planting are doing very well,
except for one small plant that died and some ants that are digging up the
polymeric joint sand between the patio tiles. Fortunately i contacted Artscape Gardens
(see below) and they came over and addressed these issues.
Customer service- Obviously, we didn’t have the “no call back” problems that so many other’s have had.They got back to us quickly. Might have been because of the earlier timing (joint sand, plants, ect.) but once we got connected they provided the consultation we needed and fully addressed our issues.
Conclusion- High-quality, professional work. These guy’s are the real deal. Really like our new yard and use it everyday.

Highly recommend. We had looked at multiple options before selecting Artscape Gardens and we couldn’t be happier. We had major cleanup, design, and landscaping required in our front and backyard in a limited timeframe.
